Important Alert Regarding 2023 Tax Season

**IMPORTANT ALERT REGARDING 2023 TAX SEASON**

Many have asked, “What do you need to prepare my tax return?” Please see our website for our 2023 tax questionnaire and 2023 income tax engagement letter. These are located at: resources, forms, documents and links. These items are also available for pickup at our office. In order to prepare any tax return, the engagement letter must be signed and returned to us. For individual tax returns, we also require the 2023 tax questionnaire be completed in its entirety and submitted to us. The accurate completion of this questionnaire is for your benefit as it will indicate to us pertinent information needed to prepare your tax return. The questionnaire has a section that lists some of the items we will need to prepare your return. Please review that section. In addition, if you have a business or rental, please include the related income and expenses. Please also include other information that you feel is pertinent to your return (ie: copies of closing statements on sales of real estate, copies of invoices for purchases of equipment in your business, etc).

We will not be scheduling in person tax appointments before preparing the return.

If, after preparing the return, you would like an in person appointment, we can schedule one at that time.

We are offering 3 ways for you to provide us your tax documents:

1. Upload your documents to your secure online web portal which will be available again this year

Your portal provides the perfect place to store tax returns and electronic copies of your supporting documents (W‐2s, 1099s, etc.) should you ever wish to access them. Our office will provide instructions to access web portals if needed. When uploading documents please try to do so in 1 attachment with all documents with your name listed and all documents have to be in PDF format our system does not accept JPEG.

2. Drop off your documents at our office

You can drop off your tax documents at our office during our regular office hours (M‐F 8:00 am to 5:00pm, Saturday 8‐12). There is a mail slot available during all non‐working hours. This is located on the North Side of our entrance.
